Achieves a nearly constant retraction force by paying off material from a spool. Commonly used for displays and counterbalances. Constant Force Springs are manufactured from Flat Strip material and spooled to a specific free diameter to give the needed pull force.
Constant Force Extension Springs are used in a wide variety of applications where a constant pull force is needed.
