Sandvik 2RE10 is an austenitic stainless steel with 25% Cr and 20% Ni, and with extremely low carbon and impurity contents. It is characterised by:
excellent resistance to corrosion in nitric acid
excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion
good resistance to pitting
good weldability
