Sandvik Materials Technology is a world leading producer of seamless stainless steel tubes. Production of tubes started more than 60 years ago. A major advantage is that we have a fully integrated production and, therefore, have total control over the entire production process from steel melt to the finished product. Seamless tubes are typically used within the following industries: chemical and petrochemical, oil & gas - offshore/onshore, power and heat generation, fertilizer, pulp and paper, as well as mechanical. Seamless tubes are produced by extrusion, followed by cold working when neccesary to produce a given size, grade or to meet other well defined properties
Production in several Countries
Our main plant is situated in Sandviken, Sweden but we also supply from plants in USA, Canada, France, the Czech Republic, Germany and India.
Sandvik Materials Technology, along with being a leading manufacturer, has one of the largest stainless steel inventories in the United States, available to meet any delivery demand.
