February 28, 2006-
OSHA published its final rule with respect to the regulatory standard for occupational exposure to Hexavalent Chromium.
May 29, 2006-
Effective date of the standard.
November 27, 2006-
Employers with greater than 20 employees must be in compliance with all provisions except Engineering Controls.
May 30, 2007-
Employers with less than 20 employees must be in compliance with all provisions except Engineering Controls.
May 31, 2010-
All employers must be in compliance with engineering controls provisions.

52 Micrograms/Cubic Meter
New PEL -
5 Micrograms/Cubic Meter
